He is an FIV+ kitty but that doesn't mean he can't live a long and happy life with you

Rascal

Hi new friends! My name is Rascal and I'm a beautiful two-year-old guy, here at GTHS to find a new home.

I was surrendered alllll the way back in February when my owner could no longer care for me. Don't feel too sad for me though, cuz this just means I get to find someone new to love.

I was a pretty shy guy when I first got here...not so sure about new people, but holy cow (or cat) it's like I'm a totally different kitty now!

I realllllly bond with the humans who spend a lot of time with me. So, I promise, I will become your devoted sidekick for the rest of my life if you choose me. Like, there's this one human who works here and spends a lot of time with me....boy, I really like her now!

She tried to promote me to Lobby Cat, but I wanted to be with her SO much, they had to demote me....womp womp....because she wasn't getting any work done with me around. (I still don't see the problem with that, but oh well). And when she'd go into this thing they call the "bathroom" without me, well, I'd just sit at the door and wait for her to come back out!

So, like I said....DEVOTED CAT OVER HERE! I'll admit, I'll probably be a little shy with you at first, but give me some time and I'll become your little shadow. I've also just started to learn what a human lap is. Boy, are those fun to sit on!

Anyway, I guess all I'm trying to say is that I'm such a SWEET boy. Sometimes I've even a little chatty and I love my bum rubs! I really am the nicest guy, with a big purrsonality.

Oh, oh, right. I should probably also let you know though that I am an FIV+ kitty but that doesn't mean I can't live a long and happy life with you! I am a special kitty but I don't require much more care than any other kitty cat. All I need is a vet visit twice a year to make sure I'm in my best shape! Don't worry, one of the Adoption Counselors can explain how awesome FIV+ cats are, we give the most love!

My adoption fee is by donation and includes my neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and a microchip.

I can't wait to meet you and look forward to starting my new life with my new family soon.

Hopeful purrs and head boops,

xoxo Rascal
