CollingwoodToday, in partnership with the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

My name is Hank, and I am a handsome one-year-old boy who is ready for my forever home.
I should tell you a few things before we meet — firstly, I love playing. I have tons of playful kitty energy. I would love a family who does lots of things with me, like play with wand toys and lots of kitty enrichment.
I should also mention I really don’t like other kitties. I don’t like sharing my space, things or humans, so I would love to be an only pet. Change makes me nervous, so I may seem a bit ‘standoffish’ at the beginning, but I adjust after a day or two, and then the playtime and adventures can begin! My adoption fee is $125 and includes my spay/neuter, internal and external parasite treatments, up-to-date vaccinations and an ID microchip.
If you want to learn more about me, please come visit the GTHS and speak with one of the amazing adoption counsellors. The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12 to 4 p.m., every day of the week, and they would be thrilled to introduce you to me. I can’t wait to meet you and am looking forward to starting my new life with my new family.
