Barney
Hi all, my name is Barney. I've been deemed the "handsome boy" of the kennel here at the shelter.
In fact, it's a little hard to get things done around here because the human ladies are allllways petting me, telling me what a good boy I am, taking me for walks, and giving me snuggles. It's a tough job being the best-looking pup around here, but someone's got to do it!
I actually haven't even been here at the GTHS for that long, but I'm already so excited to find a loving new home.
I'm quite a big (and I mean real big) boy as well but I'm also a giant softy. You wouldn't think that a guy of such large stature would be shy, but I am. I'm a sensitive boy who responds best to a soft voice and kind touch.
Finding someone to help me with my confidence and show me the world would be just perfect for a guy like me. Just think of me as an overgrown puppy who has a lot to learn! I love to please and will make an absolutely amazing best friend for the right person.

Please make a trip over to the shelter and talk with our Adoption Counselors to learn more about me. The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m., every single day of the week and they would be happy to introduce you to me! I can't wait to meet you and look forward to starting my new life with my new family soon.
