Brandy

Hi there everyone, my name is Brandy, and I'm a sweet senior girl looking for a comfy home for my golden years!

I'm about 10-years-old and a nice-sized lady at about 65lbs. I arrived at the GTHS with a couple of my family members when some things changed for our humans and they were no longer able to give us the care we needed. After a little time with the doggie doctor and lots of loving from the GTHS humans, I'm finally ready to find a new family of my very own.

The people here say that I'm an "outdoor" dog who likely hasn't done a lot of indoor living. So, the GTHS humans sure are pleased with how I've settled in here at the Animal Center so far! I've done very well and am adjusting to my new routine and environment very smoothly.

I've been a very polite, friendly, and super sweet girl with all the humans I've met so far at GTHS (I just want pets, treats, and cuddles all day long). My previous family said I was great with the kids I've interacted with too!

I'm just a happy, laid-back doggie who is soaking up all the love these humans have to offer while I wait to find my new family.

I've just started going out for little walks and sure do love a nice stroll, enjoying the sunshine and checking out all the new and interesting smells. I also enjoy just spending my time outside, so having a nice big fenced backyard sure would be a bonus!

I've also been very polite with the doggie friends I've met here at GTHS too but honestly, I'm more interested in getting pets from people than playing with dog friends.

I will say that I need a home without cats or tiny critters, please. I have what the humans call a "prey drive".

Now, the reason I'm in the GTHS Special Paws program is that I have Bronk...Bronck...Bronchitis (tough word!).

I have a little pill I have to take each day to help with my cough, but this is something I could need long-term. So, to help offset the cost of my medicine, the GTHS humans have put me in the Special Paws program and reduced my adoption fee as well.

Overall, I'm just a kind older girl with a great temperament who is looking for a new family to love. Spending my days by your side, getting pets, maybe some treats, and a cozy bed of my very own sounds like the best retirement I could hope for!

So, as long as you don't mind making sure I get my medication (no big deal, right?), I'll be sure to give you all the love I have to offer for the rest of our days together!

My Special Paws adoption fee is $100 and includes my spay, up-to-date vaccinations, de-wormer, and a microchip. I am so excited to meet you soon!

Gentle wags,
xoxo Brandy
