Acorn and Avery

Hi humans, my name is Acorn and I'm a great big bundle of fluffy love! I'm two years old and weigh in at just over 80lbs. I know that sounds like a lot to handle but I'm a pretty easy-going and chill boy.

Anyways, I'm here at GTHS with my very best friend in the whole wide world, Avery. We arrived together as part of our Transfer Program so all the wonderful humans here at GTHS have been getting to know us.

We are what the GTHS people call a "bonded pair" which means we will be looking to find a home together. We realize that's a lot to ask as we're both pretty big dogs.

I'm definitely the friendly type and am very affectionate always looking for some snuggles from the humans I meet. Due to my size and my lack of manners at times, I can be a bit overwhelming so children 15+ would be best so I don't accidentally knock someone over. That would be terrible!

I get along pretty well with other dogs but I'm sure between Avery and me you'd have a very full house so maybe best if it's just us in your home.

Oh, and speaking of your home, having room for two good size pups and a large property to run around in would be sooo awesome allowing us to get lots of exercise and positive stimulation. An understanding of the German Shepherd breed would also be very helpful in setting us up for success!

Avery

Hi humans, my name is Avery. I'm quite a sweet girl and I am two years old, weighing in at just over 60lbs.

Anyways, I'm here at GTHS with my very best friend in the whole wide world, Acorn. I'm so attached to him that I'll even get a little nervous when I lose sight of him on a walk! I know... I just can't help it cuz I like him by my side... We arrived together as part of our Transfer Program so all the wonderful humans here at GTHS have been getting to know us.

Acorn and Avery were transferred from the states, so we don't have a lot of their history. This means we do not know what type of training and socialization they've had as a puppy.

If you've got room (as in LOTS of room) in your heart and your home for two sweet, best-friend doggies who are looking for a great home to spend the rest of our life with, then I soooo hope you'll consider Acorn and I!

Our 'bonded pair' adoption fee is $600 and includes our spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, de-wormer, and microchips.

We can't wait to meet you soon!

Wags and snuggles,
xoxo Acorn and Avery
