VIDEO: Briar has a burning love for her art

On today's What's New we visit with Briar McCallum of Studio Briar

It was a wood whittling mishap that led Briar McCallum to pyrography - the free handed art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks. She was attempting to whittle a spoon with the intent to burn it with a wood burning kit she found in her basement. The whittling led to stitches, the wood burning to a full time career.

McCallum's work can be found in various stores in the area as well as on her website.
