On behalf of the Grants and Donations Committee, The Town of The Blue Mountains is pleased to announce that over 350 tickets have been sold for the annual Lobsterfest event happening July 2, during Canada Day Weekend at the Beaver Valley Community Centre.

All net proceeds and funds from the event will directly support local community organizations, the Blue Mountain Legacy Fund, and the Town’s Grants & Donations Committee, which will further distribute the funds to community organizations in need.

Following Public Health procedures, the event will feature a sit-down 150 person seating with a cash bar and music provided by ‘Pick Up Game’, a rock and top 40 cover band. Again, this year a take home meal option is available, but pick up times are limited.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to come together to help raise much-needed funds for these community organizations. Lobsterfest is our largest fundraising event of the year with also further reinforces our community spirit and commitment to supporting one other. Please join us for what will be another memorable evening,” expressed Deputy Mayor Peter Bordignon.
