If residents in The Blue Mountains see a golf cart driving on local sidewalks they should not be alarmed.
The town advised the public that sidewalk inspections are scheduled to be conducted throughout the town beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
The inspections will be completed utilizing a golf cart by Cleancrete Cutting Ltd., to identify trip hazards, cracks and other obstructions on sidewalks and walkways throughout the impacted areas. Inspections will be taking place on priority and secondary sidewalks.
Residents are also reminded that sidewalks, roads and general maintenance-related issues can be reported 24/7 by submitting a service request using the town’s online service portal.
