One new case of COVID-19 reported in The Blue Mountains today

The Grey Bruce Health Unit (GBHU) is reporting one new case of COVID-19 in the region today - in The Town of the Blue Mountains (TBM).  

TBM has now had a total of 42 lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases and there are currently three active cases in the municipality.  

The health unit has reported a total of 654 cases in the region to date, and notes there are 35 active cases in both counties combined. 

Two individuals from the region are being hospitalized.

Active cases in Grey County are currently located in Owen Sound (2), Southgate (4), Meaford (1), West Grey (3), The Blue Mountains (3), Hanover (3), and Chatsworth (1). 

The health unit is currently tracking 103 high-risk contacts associated with active cases.

Of GBHU’s 654 cumulative cases, 576 cases have recovered and 43 cases were referred to other health units.

To date, GBHU has administered 200 COVID-19 vaccines, which is a 100 per cent administration rate.

Lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Grey County include: Owen Sound (108); Southgate (85); Grey Highlands (68); Meaford (28); West Grey (49); Blue Mountains (42); Hanover (30); Georgian Bluffs (6); Chatsworth (7).
