One new case of COVID-19 reported in Blue Mountains today

The Town of the Blue Mountains currently has one active case and has seen a total of 39 COVID-19 cases

The Grey Bruce Health Unit (GBHU) is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 in the region today. 

The six new cases are located in the Blue Mountains, Kincardine, Southgate, West Grey, Hanover and South Bruce. 

The health unit has reported a total of 609 cases in the region to date, and notes there are 52 active cases in both counties combined. 

Two individuals from the region are being hospitalized.

Active cases in Grey County are currently located in Owen Sound (10), Southgate (4), Grey Highlands (3), Meaford (2), West Grey (9), The Blue Mountains (1), Hanover (5), Georgian Bluffs (1) and Chatsworth (4). 

The health unit is currently tracking 157 high-risk contacts associated with active cases.

Of GBHU’s 609 cumulative cases, 519 cases have recovered and 38 cases were referred to other health units.

Lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Grey County include: Owen Sound (104); Southgate (80); Grey Highlands (66); Meaford (26); West Grey (45); Blue Mountains (39); Hanover (28); Georgian Bluffs (6); Chatsworth (7).
