A Collingwood-based, real-estate firm might be a parent’s best friend this weekend.

The Chris Keleher Team hosts its third annual CKTeam Movie Morning Saturday, June 8 at the Cineplex Theatre in Collingwood.

The Team has again rented out the entire movie-house Saturday morning to screen the charming and funny film, The Secret Life of Pets 2.

The film follows the life of Max the terrier, who must cope with some major life changes after his owner gets married and has a baby. And if that wasn’t enough, Max’s life is further complicated when his family takes a trip to the countryside where the nervous pup has numerous run-ins with canine-intolerant cows, hostile foxes and a scary turkey.

But aside from screening a top-notch film, the CKTeam is also bringing in face painters for the kids throughout the morning as well as supplying nutritious snacks and drinks for everyone.

Past movie mornings have drawn close to 500 people to the theatre to enjoy films like Boss Baby and the Incredibles 2 that both proved to be bona fide hits with both the young and young at heart. But hosting the movie morning is nothing out of the ordinary for the CKTeam.

As a community-minded business with very caring employees, the Team puts great efforts into contributing to and supporting many organizations and causes around Collingwood and Southern Georgian Bay.

Besides helping out a wide array of organizations including the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters Of The Georgian Triangle, Home Horizons, My Friend’s House and the Barbara Weider House, the Team also hosts two annual community events that are free for all guests.
