UPDATED: Students arrested after stabbing at Flesherton high school

UPDATE: Police announced on March 10 they have laid charges against the two youths arrested.

Two students have been arrested after a reported stabbing at a high school in Flesherton.

Grey Bruce OPP responded to the school at about 10:15 a.m. Thursday after reports of a student having been stabbed and needing medical attention, police said in a news release.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and two other students were taken into custody.

The investigation is continuing, and police are calling it an isolated incident. School officials are notifying parents.

On March 10, Grey-Bruce OPP announced they had laid charges against the two teens, whose identities will not be released as they are minors. 

A 15-year-old student from Southgate Township was charged with assault with a weapon, and a 16-year-old Grey Highlands student was charged with attempting to obstruct justice. They will appear in youth court at a later date.
