Police seek information on December pedestrian collision

THE BLUE MOUNTAINS - Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing their investigation into a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in late December and are asking for assistance with anyone that may have witnessed the occurrence. 

The incident took place on Dec. 21 2019 at approximately 8:00 p.m. where a pedestrian, walking on Gord Canning Drive in the area of the Westin Hotel, was struck by a west bound Subaru Outback. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the driver of the vehicle was not injured. 

Police are continuing their investigation and are asking for anyone with information on this matter to contact OPP Constable Trevor McKean at the Collingwood OPP at 705-445-4321.
