Police report second theft from area construction site in under a week

On two occasions last week (March 22 and 27) tools were stolen from locked trailers on construction sites in Collingwood and The Blue Mountains.

Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP have reported a second construction site theft in under a week.

According to a press release issued by local police, a suspect or suspects entered a locked trailer on a construction site on Holly Court near Grey Road 21 in The Blue Mountains and stole several tools located inside. This theft occurred overnight between March 27 and 28. A description of the items stolen was not available.

A few days earlier, overnight between March 22 and 23, another theft at a construction site saw a suspect or suspects take six Dewalt cordless nailers, five Dewalt cordless saws, five Passlode air nailers, five Stiletto hammers, two Paslode nailers and a Bostitch Strapshot nailer from a construction site on Cranberry East Trail.
