Police end investigation of reported Wasaga Beach sexual assault

No arrests, no outstanding suspects after incident reported Tuesday

Members of the Crime Unit from the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have now concluded their investigation into a report of a sexual assault in Wasaga Beach.

The occurrence was reported to have taken place on May 24 at approximately 10 p.m. on a walking trail off of Oxbow Park Drive, where the victim advised police they were sexually assaulted.

This investigation has now concluded. No arrests have been made and there are no outstanding suspects. As well there is no fear for public safety.
