Pedestrian suffers life-threatening head injury in Markdale collision

GREY HIGHLANDS - On Nov. 22, 2019 at 2:33 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a serious motor vehicle collision involving a (black) pickup truck and a pedestrian at Highway 10 and Grey Road 12 in Markdale. The truck was making a left turn from Grey Road 12 to the southbound lane of Highway 10 when the pedestrian was struck.

OPP officers were assisted at the scene by Grey County Paramedics. The injured 59-year-old pedestrian was transported by air ambulance to hospital with a life-threatening head injury.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are attending to assist with the collision investigation.
