TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS - On Dec. 29, 2018, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a sexual assault involving a female victim under 16 years of age.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, on Jan. 16, 2019 and Jan.17, 2019, a total of five males have been arrested and charged. The accused include:
An 18-year old Arran-Elderslie Township male, charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, Transmit Sexually Explicit Material to a Person Under 16 Years of Age. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 14, 2019 in Owen Sound.
An 18-year old Georgian Bluffs male, charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 14, 2019.
A 17-year old Georgian Bluffs male, charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 12, 2019 in Owen Sound.
A 16-year old Owen Sound male, charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Luring a Person Under 16 Years of Age by Means of Telecommunication. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 12, 2019 in Owen Sound.
A 20-year old Hanover male, charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Luring a Person Under 16 Years of Age by Means of Telecommunication. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 14, 2019 in Owen Sound.
