Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a 42-year-old Collingwood woman following a traffic stop and have charged her with various drug and weapons offences.
On Nov. 17, Collingwood OPP stopped the driver on Ontario Street near Minnesota Street in Collingwood as she had several warrants out for her arrest. Upon a search of the vehicle, officers discovered two prohibited knives, bear spray, drugs and paraphernalia.
The driver is now facing drug trafficking, weapons and breach of probation charges.
She was held for a bail hearing.
