CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP - On May 6, 2019 at approximately 5:15 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were conducting traffic enforcement on Main Street in Clearview Township. Police initiated a vehicle stop for a traffic related offence, and through the course of the investigation it was determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol.
James Carruthers, age 62, of Clearview Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on May 21, 2019.
