ATV operator charged with impaired driving in Wasaga Beach

OPP observed the accused 'swerving all over the road'

WASAGA BEACH - On June 1, 2020 at approximately 11:40 p.m., a member of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on Ramblewood Drive in the Town of Wasaga Beach after observing that the ATV had no lights on and was swerving all over the road. At this time police entered into an investigation and quickly determined that the driver was [allegedly] operating it while under the influence of alcohol.

As a result a Brayden Bullock of Wasaga Beach was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
    •    CC 320.14(1)(a) adult operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
    •    CC 320.14(1)(b) adult operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
    •    CC 320.18(1)(a) adult operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code
    •    CC adult fail to comply with probation order x3

The accused was held for a bail hearing today at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie.
