Man, 40, dies after shooting in Sudbury, Ont.; police say incident appears targeted

SUDBURY, Ont. — Police in Sudbury, Ont., say a man has died following a shooting Monday night.

Investigators say they were called around 10 p.m. on reports of gunshots and found a 40-year-old man dead inside a home.

Police say they believe he died from being shot.

They say multiple people were seen leaving the area before officers arrived.

Police say the shooting is believed to be a targeted incident involving people who knew each other.

They say the name of the victim is not being released at the request of his family.
