George “Brian” Whiston, 78, of Collingwood, passed away peacefully at his home, after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Brian was born on August 6, 1943, to George and Colleen (Phelan) in Montreal. He attended McGill University and moved to Ontario in the early seventies.
Brian had a long and successful career as a business owner and enjoyed his work until his retirement at the age of 75.
Brian is survived by his wife Jo-Anne (nee Jenkinson), son Jesse, granddaughter Jaspen and brother Roy (Raffi) and his beloved feline sidekick “Maggie”.
As per Brian’s wishes cremation has taken place and no events are planned as he did not wish to have a service. Arrangements entrusted to Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood.
