It is with great sadness the family of Starr Scott announce her sudden passing on October 19th, 2021 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by her husband and soul mate, Blake Scott, on August 31st, 2008.
Starr was a long-time resident of Wasaga Beach. She was an employee of the Town of Wasaga Beach for 30 years, retiring as Recreation Coordinator in 2014. She was passionate about her community and took immense pride in providing programs for our youth; she continued to volunteer after her retirement.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her family was her pride and joy. She was an avid traveler and nature enthusiast and lived her motto “build memories, not dreams”.
Starr leaves behind her children Kim (Mike), Blake (Megan), Amber (Larry), Rob (Jess), Carol and Bonnie, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her brother Tom and sisters Debbie and Marisa.
Cremation has taken place. The family is grieving privately with a celebration of life to be announced for the summer 2022.
