Peacefully at his residence with family by his side on Wednesday November 14th, 2018 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Jean Robinson (nee Gillis) of 54 years. Much loved father of Len (Beth) of Rutland, Massachusetts and Nancy (Doug) Sweeney of Elmvale. Cherished grandfather of Myles (Melody), Zach, Noah, Hannah (David Calkins), Mary and Mikayla Robinson, Ryan, Alex and Derek Sweeney. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Jean Robinson and his twin Alvin. Dear brother of Frances (Earl) Ritchie, Joan (Darryle) Rawn, and Shirley (Les) Ferguson. Allan will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Some will remember him from his many years of employment at the Collingwood Shipyards and later GL&V in Orillia. At Allan’s request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation will be followed by a spring interment in Creemore Union cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Lung Association or the charity of your choice through the Simcoe Funeral Home.
