Passed away peacefully at his Sand Lake cottage surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, September 1, 2018. A respected emergency physician and advocate for his patients and community. Adored husband of Suzanne O’Neil (nee Crannie) of Collingwood. Proud father of Shannon Foley (Tim), Kelly O’Neil and Danielle O’Neil (Andrew Robson). Loving grandfather of Britt and Bruce (Foley) and Audrey (Hopkins). Caring uncle to James Crannie (Ashton). Eldest brother to Jesse, Cathy, Mary Pat, Dan and John. Maury will be sadly missed by his many good friends and extended family, including Jarett Jarvis. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home- Collingwood Chapel on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. His courageous battle will be celebrated Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Blue Mountain Inn – Weider Room at 1 p.m. Donations to RVH Oncology, or other cancer charities of Maury’s choice would be appreciated.
