Corrie passed away peacefully on May 16, 2019 at Bay Haven Nursing Home at the age of 82, predeceased by husband Marinus ‘Rene’ Meesters. She will be sadly missed by her 6 children, Maryanne (Wayne) Morrison, Linda (Ron) McGauley, Peter (Charlotte), Nancy, Michael and Kenneth (Melissa); 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Corrie is survived by 3 brothers, John (Josephine), Henry (Barb) and Martin & 2 sisters Toosje (Andy) Vasvari and Dorothy (Martin) Lamers. Predeceased by brothers Tony (Tonia), Cory (Carol) and Albert (Dini) and sister Wilhelmina (John) Lamers.
Corrie will be fondly remembered by extended family and everyone that knew her.
Funeral mass to be held on Saturday June 1, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Elgin St. in Collingwood.
