April 27, 1934 — November 8, 2021

It is with love and reverence that we announce Keith’s peaceful passing, at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital on November 8, 2021, in his 87th year, concluding a bold, brilliant, and beautiful life.

Keith will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his loving wife Aggie of 64 years, his daughters Laura (Doug) & Deanna, his grandchildren Eric, Ryan, Tesa, and his nephews Doug and Don Turner.

Keiths’ life was his family. His enduring legacy is love.

While fulfilled and proud of a remarkable career, nothing brought him greater joy than his family. Many happy memories were made in the Chalet in Collingwood and in their Toronto home. Family vacations in Hawaii, Bermuda, Arizona, and Europe provided cherished and meaningful family experiences.

Keith’s life began in North Battleford, Saskatchewan to Russell and Erma (nee Oaken). He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Commerce degree and began an illustrious 44-year career with the Hudson Bay Company. Most of that time was spent in senior management, holding positions in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Toronto. At his side and in his heart through it all was Aggie, whom he met in the Bay store in his first year of employment.

Since 1991 Keith and Aggie have loved and cherished their Collingwood home with active social and athletic lives, leading to many treasured friendships and opportunities along the way.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Keith’s name may be made to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. With love, thank you Keith.
