Died peacefully on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at the Toronto Western Hospital surrounded by her family as she was awaiting organ transplant at the age of 55. Heather of Nottawa, best friend and spouse of Willie Lindsay. Loving mother of Brooke and step-mother of Ashley (Darrin) and Katrina (Dylan). Cherished grandmother of Maveric, Brecken, Rhett, Ruby and Dion, Matthew, Riley and Kegan. Dear sister of Bob (Nancy), Wayne (Vicki), Debbie (Dan Milette), Pamela (Gord Coulson), Sandra (Tom Kitchen) and the late Michael. Heather will also be deeply missed by the love of her life Diesel, her canine companion, her nieces and nephews Nicole, Laura, Darrell, Christina, Jaqueline, Jason, Justin, Tyler, the late Robbie and the late Leanne and their families and her many, many friends. Heather was a genuine and caring woman who dedicated herself to her family. She was a longtime early childhood educator who through her sense of humour and positive attitude enriched the lives of everyone she met. She enjoyed her gardens and taking long walks on Heather’s Pathway through Collingwood with Diesel. She will be deeply missed but her memory will remain.
