LAUZON, Nancy Lynn (nee Zamparo)

Peacefully at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, Ontario, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 73. Nancy of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Frank for over 50 years. Loving mother of Kristina (Jeremy Cieben), Karen (Steve Parker) and Frankie (Nikki). Adoring Nana of Madilyn and Lucy Lauzon. Pre-deceased by her parents Joseph and Margaret Zamparo. Dear sister of Joanne Zamparo, Arleigh “Wendy” Hartwell and the late Martin Zamparo (2015). Nancy will also be missed by her nieces and nephews, former students and colleagues and her many friends. Nancy was employed by the Greater Essex County District School Board as a vision resource teacher in the Windsor area. She had also been employed by the Rotary Children’s Centre in Kitchener as a teacher of children with physical disabilities. She retired at the Beach where she and Frank enjoyed watching sunsets down at the water. She was a member of Beachcomber’s, Probus and the Prime Time Club where she and Frank loved playing darts and socializing with friends. She was also a proud member of the Coldwater Legion. She was always fond of her wonderful Shelties. She and Frank loved to travel and explore new places and opportunities. She thoroughly enjoyed quilting and various crafts. Nancy loved spending precious time with her two beautiful granddaughters Madilyn and Lucy and she loved to show their pictures and tell everyone about them. She was definitely an extremely proud Nana. She was always also extremely proud of her children Kristina, Karen and Frankie. Special friend of Gill and Carol Baird. Thanks to Dr. Michael Lewin, nurses and staff of Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, doctors and nurses at Princess Margaret Hospital, Dr. Singh and staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Noel Chabanel Catholic Church, 133 Dunkerron Avenue, Wasaga Beach on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 1:00 o’clock. Cremation to follow with Entombment at Wasaga Beach Cemetery. If desired, a donation to the Ministerial Food Bank of Wasaga Beach or Hospice Georgian Triangle, Campbell House would be appreciated by Nancy’s family.
