Went to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at Heritage House, St. Jacobs in her 87 year.
Ferne, beloved wife of the late Willard (1996). Loving mother of Kevin (Karen), Bernice and Quentin (Sharon). Cherished grandmother of Jordanna, Sarah, Shawn, Samuel and Seth. Ferne is survived by sisters of Eunice Winger and Evelyn Climenhaga, sisters-in-law Sheila Climenhaga and Doris Wallace and brother-in-law Darcy Lageer. She is predeceased by siblings Anna, Clarence, Merle and Marjorie. Ferne will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, friends, neighbours and her fellow parishioners. Ferne was a kind and nurturing woman of great faith. She will be deeply missed and also celebrated.
Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Saturday April 17, 2021 from 12 noon for a time of visitation. You must register your attendance utilizing the RSVP link on the funeral home website. Further instructions will be provided there. The family will gather for a private funeral service at 2 o’clock.
