It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend on Tuesday October, 8, 2019. Charlie was born in Collingwood August 7, 1932 to parents Alexander and Helen Keith. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce Maxwell; predeceased by his wife Shirley J. Keith (2002). He will be deeply missed by his daughter Sandra (Chuck) Buckley of Canmore, AB and by his son Greg (Shirley) Keith of Victoria, BC. He will be forever cherished by his grandchildren Heather and Hilary (Dougal), Michael, Amy (Brian), and great grandson Aiden. Charlie will also be remembered by Joyce’s sons Ian (Marg) and Evan (Shawna) Maxwell and their children Cody (Kaurel), Candie (Bennett), Gabriel, Kalleigh and Lily and grandchildren Brooke, Meadow, Lyla, Stella, Ellis and Willow. As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion on Friday November 8, 2019 at 1 p.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Collingwood General & Marine Hospital or First Baptist Church would be appreciated.
