(1940 – 2018) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gary our beloved husband, father, brother and papa on Sunday November 4th at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie. Gary was the dear husband of Rosemary, father to Mark and Bethany, and papa to Tishara and Breanna. He is survived by his sister Gabriele Bennett (Cambridge) as well as half-sisters Susanne and Bettina of Germany and Barbara of New York. He also leaves behind a very large extended family.
Gary was an active member of the Men’s Probus club of Collingwood and loved to travel.
He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Thursday November 8, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at 1 p.m. on Friday November 9, 2018. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle or Collingwood General &Marine Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
