It is with great sadness that on March 20th, 2020 at the WPSHC, William Charles Heffernan passed away in his 90th year. Sadly, missed by his loving wife Irene(Russell) of 65yrs. Missed by son Bill & Gloria Daughters Nancy, Colleen & Stewart, son Jeffrey & Marisia Loving grandchildren, Tiffany & Riley, Sarah & Fil, Austin & Emmy and Aaron. Loved by all his nieces and nephews. Bill was a Chief Engineer for many years at the Park Plaza Hotel, Retired from Canada Square Management. He loved hockey, fishing , and really enjoyed the outdoors...In his early years he played hockey , was an amateur boxer...Loved people who loved him back in return. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood. Donations to the WPSHC, or a charity of your choice. Our family extends our sincere thanks to all the health care professionals at the WPSHC who cared for dad.
