HAYES, Marlene Jessica (nee Holder)

Died peacefully on Tuesday October 4, 2022 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood in her 80^th year.  Born April 23, 1943 to Stan and Adele Holder. Dear sister of the late Pat Irwin. Loving mother of Stan (Pat) and Tim Whittaker, of whom she was very proud.  In 1988 Marlene and Ken Hayes entered into a life together along with Ken’s children Ken (Kelly), Shaun (Jennifer), soon joined by the grandchildren Brody, Tanner and Matty.  A sincere thank you to everyone who became wonderful friends through this journey. “Our God has been good to us”.  Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home- Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Monday October 10, 2022 from 2 to 6 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held at the Anglican Church of the Prince of Peace, 565 Mosley Street, Wasaga Beach on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 1 o’clock. Interment Wasaga Beach cemetery.  Reception to follow at the Oakview room of the Recplex.  If desired, a donation to Sleeping Children Around the World, the Anglican Church of the Prince of Peace or Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by Marlene’s family.  To sign Marlene’s Book of Memories, please visit www.carrutherssdavidson.com
