HANLEY, Raymond Leslie

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Sunday, September 16th, 2018, at the age of 74. Ray, beloved partner of Zita Zolpys. Loving father of Kimberley (Tim) Raeburn-Gibson, Trevor (Lee) and Aaron (Jennie). Cherished Grandpa of Katya, Taylor, Nathan, Haven and Joshua. Dear brother of Bill (Marybeth), Beverley (Clint) Havens, Nancy (Greg) Thompson and the late Gord. Fondly remembered by
nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sadly missed by “puppies” Captain and Morgan. “Rockin’ Ray” was a fixture on the shores of Georgian Bay where he shared his passion for fishing and life with everyone he met. A Celebration of Life will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Maple Street, Collingwood, on Friday, September 28th, 2018, at 11 am with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  The Celebration will continue immediately following at the Royal Canadian Legion, 490 Ontario street, Collingwood.  Donations may be made to Heart & Stroke or the Georgian Triangle Anglers Society.
