Elva Irene Habgood passed away peacefully at Bay Haven Nursing Home on Saturday January 9, 2021 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband John Habgood, son Norman, daughter Irene and brother Rodger. Survived by her siblings Betty, Bernice (Don), Neil (Karen) and Verna. Survived by her daughter in law Susan Habgood, grandchildren Clinton (Traci), Kristina, Krista (Caleb) and her great grandchildren Leah, John, James, Kaylie and Jackson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood. At her request, cremation has taken place. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Irene loved her family and friends. We will miss you! Irene's family would like to thank the staff of Bay Haven Nursing Home for all the kindness and support given to Irene and her family. Remembrances of Irene, may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Simcoe County would be appreciated by her family.
