It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christiane Regine Graham (nee Brachvogel) on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood where she was so tenderly cared for. She was surrounded by her loving family and many friends. Born on August 24th, 1947 in Wolfenbüttel, Germany, Chris was predeceased by her mother, Marlou Colburn, her father, Dr. Heinz Brachvogel, and stepfather, Siegfried Schneider. She will always be '
Nana' to grandson, Elijah Graham, and will be deeply missed by her hubby, Doug Burn, sister-in-law, Normie, her daughter Kimberley Graham and partner Ana Coria, her daughter Miku Graham and husband Michael Shand. She also leaves behind dear siblings, Hans, Uli, Priya, and Thomas and will also be missed by her nieces and nephews. Her move to Collingwood in 2010 was the beginning of a new adventure starring the motley cast of characters she now calls friends. A memorial service will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home in Collingwood on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at 11a.m. As per Christiane's wishes, in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle would be very much appreciated. A celebration of life for this music-worshipping, sun-loving, wonderful woman will be held in the summer. (Date T.B.D.)
