FILSO, Patricia (nee Rimmington)

Passed away on Monday November 8, 2021 at Stayner Care Centre at 87 years old.  Daughter of Stanley & Mary.  Loving mother of Mary Bender (Glen), Linda Irvine, Carol (Dean), Paul (Bozena) and Lisa (Peter).  Grandmother of Troy, Christopher, Jordan, Jensen, Caroline, Alexandra, Justin, Oliver and Fallon.  Great Grandmother of Summer and Skye.  Sister of Joan Hogg (deceased), Ruth Grier, Elinor Kent and Cliff Rimmington.  Before being married, she grew up in Nottawa and worked at Smart’s Cannery.  Patricia raised her family in Creemore, then in Cornwall until moving to Collingwood where she lived for the past 40 years.  The last few years of her life she resided at Blue Mountain Manor in Stayner.  As a member of Jehovah’s Witness, she attended the Kingdom Hall in Collingwood, where she had many, many friends.  Arrangements entrusted to Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood.  To leave a message of condolence or to share a memory of Patricia, please visit www.chattersonfuneralhome.com
