Russell passed away peacefully at Collingwood General & Marine Hospital with loved ones by his side. He is now reunited with his beloved wife and best friend Carol Ferguson. Loving father of Heather Ferguson and Tracey (Derry) Hinchey. Beloved grandfather of Amy and Matthew Hinchey. Russ will be remembered by his siblings Jean Wilson, Elsa Wilson (late Don), Cecil Ferguson, Jim Ferguson (Marg) and sister in law Joan Muirhead (late Dale). Predeceased by his siblings Bill Ferguson, Nina Bowes and Winston Ferguson. Russell was much loved by his many nieces and nephews. As per Russells wishes cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will be held at a later date. His family is grateful for the care of Dr. Scott Houston over the years, the most recent care of Dr. Alex Pearce and the staff at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital.
