Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood, ON, on Sunday, July 7th, 2019 in her 97th year.
Jean, beloved wife of the late (Harold) Dewey. Loving mother of Valerie (Peter) Bolton, Wendy (Don) Moore and Trent (Shelby) Elyea. Cherished Grandma of Nick (Irene), Daniel, Krista (Anthony Germain); Shannon (Josh Harvey), Holly (Tony Skinner); Justin (Michelle), Josh, Emma (Chris), the late Ryan Elyea, Paige and Jakob. Great-Grandma of Michelle (Richard Stephens); Samantha (Ross Skanes); Sasha, Issac and Jacob Skinner; Taite, Max, and Emmerson Elyea; Kayla and Jaxson Elyea; Kinsleigh, Lylah and Spencer Elyea; and Aidan Germain. Great-great-grandma of Hazel Skanes. Dear sister of Laureen McAllister and the late Jacqueline, Bessie, Don, Willis and Isabel. Fondly remembered by family and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #63, 490 Ontario Street, Collingwood, ON, on Sunday, August 11th, 2019 from 2 - 5 pm with remembrances at 2:30 pm.
