COOPER, Samuel Prentice

Formerly of Glasgow and Toronto, died peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood in his 86th year. Loving husband joined his beloved wife Carole Ann who predeceased him on December 27, 2020. Sam leaves his brother, Ian and family behind in the U.K., and cousin Marjorie in Florida. Cherished godfather of Deidre Orr (Owen Sound) and Suzanne Hartmann (Toronto). Sadly missed by many friends and neighbours. Sam loved sports cars and golfing. He was a natural storyteller who loved to regale and encourage others with his many inspiring life stories. Private cremation has taken place. A combined celebration of life will be planned when people are permitted to gather. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sam’s memory can be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House.
