Passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, ON, on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 at the age of 64. Liz, beloved daughter of the late David P. and Beatrice (nee Armstrong) Cochrane. Loving sister of Cheryl (Wayne) Leahy and David (Linda) Cochrane. Lovingly remembered by family and many friends, the Thompson family as well as her many colleagues from CIBC. Liz retired after a long and enjoyable career at CIBC. She enjoyed life with a gusto, especially; for shopping, traveling and music. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood, ON, on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 from 1 – 3 pm with Remembrances at 1:30 pm. Interment of ashes and graveside service will be held at a later date in Burlington, NS, in the family plot. Thank you to Drs. Dawson & Knox and Nurse Debbie at PMH, Lisa Goodfellow and Nurse Emma at CCAC, Dr Carola Elkhuizen & Dr Alyssa Boyd and a special thanks to all the staff and volunteers at Campbell House Hospice for going over and above to see we were all cared for, including Abby.
