It is with infinite sadness that the Brown family announces the passing of their beloved Barry at Sunset Manor, Collingwood, Saturday January 2, 2021, in his 65th year. Predeceased by his parents, Neal Howard Brown and Margaret “Joan” Brown, of Stayner. Survived by his loving brothers, James Howard Brown, Daniel Neal Brown his wife Robyn and nieces Naomi and Meagan. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his cousins, second cousins, family members and countless friends. Barry was a fixture on Stayner’s Main Street, and he always had time to chat with whomever he met. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Wednesday January 6, 2021from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Visitors will only be received by using the RSVP system on the funeral home website. Due to Covid-19 regulations, a limited number of people are permitted within the funeral home at any one time. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 7, 2021 at 1o’clock. The ceremony is restricted to the family only. Others may participate by viewing the ceremony live on the Carruthers & Davidson YouTube channel. The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to the frontline workers of Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, RVH, Barrie and Sunset Manor, Collingwood. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice in Barry’s name would be appreciated.
