Passed away peacefully in Collingwood on Sunday, July 26, 2020, in her 85th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Ronald, and son Lawrence. Cherished mother of Ronald (Lynda), Elizabeth (Lee), Patricia (James), Michael (Liette) and Joanne. Beloved grandmother of Christine, Tracey, Jeffrey, Jason, Derek, Steven, Corey, Michael, Brandon and Matthew. Great-grandmother of 7. As the oldest of 10 siblings and 6 children of her own, Barbara’s life was devoted to her family. In retirement Barbara and Ronald spent many happy years in their Wasaga Beach home welcoming and entertaining loved ones. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by family and friends. A celebration of life for Barbara will be held at a future date. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff of Pine Villa for their kindness and care to mom during her stay at the Villa and especially during the time of her failing health. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Barbara’s family.
