Brook, Jean Linda (nee Halliday) passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Jean will be remembered as the proud and loving mother of Richard (Shelley), Jen (Dan) Peirce, Angie (Ryan) Emerson, Stacy and Christopher (Justine). She will be forever cherished by her 17 grandchildren. Born in Collingwood to parents Gordon and Ileen Halliday, Jean is survived by her sisters Sheilah, Irene, Joyce and Cindy; predeceased by sisters Phyllis and Shirley. As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Living Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
