The downhill ski industry is looking at an uphill battle, where do you stand?

On Monday, Premier Doug Ford announced the end of the stay-at-home order for our region on Feb. 16 and a return to that colour-coded provincial framework we may or may not have called the "danger rainbow."

Just me?

On that date, whatever colour zone we're assigned by the province will dictate the restrictions in place.

But no matter the colour, green, yellow, orange, red, or grey, ski hills can reopen and operate.

The brief story we published on Monday afternoon generated, I'll say, many comments of varying conversational value.

People have opinions about ski hills.

Dr. Charles Gardner said today during his weekly media briefing that the pandemic has pushed regional and provincial health authorities and governments to make "competing decisions and competing priorities" throughout the pandemic.

Some Facebook commenters predict a third COVID wave as things, including ski hills reopen, others say it's about time, and others are just glad to be able to ski/snowboard again.

How do you feel about it?
