The Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) of United Way Simcoe Muskoka is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for funding for the following type(s) of program(s).
- Target population: Women and girls in Simcoe and Muskoka who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing the negative impacts of poverty.
- A focus on providing education and employment supports to help build life strategies and improve knowledge of work/career options, while creating opportunities for future success. Focus areas may include access to resources, mentoring, coaching, etc.
- Can be a new project or an enhancement of an existing program.
- Administered by a registered charity.
- Must be ready for implementation by April 1, 2019.
Grant details:
- Application deadline: Jan. 21, 2019
- $45,000 is available for community investment to a single project or to multiple smaller projects
