Two new COVID cases in TBM Thursday

Grey Bruce Health Unit reported nine new COVID cases over the last 24 hours, which includes two in The Blue Mountains and one in Meaford. 

The list also includes three cases in Chatsworth, one in Hanover, one in Kincardine, and one in Southgate. 

There are 34 active cases in Grey County, with four in The Bue Mountains, five in Grey Highlands, five in Meaford, five in Owen Sound, nine in Chatsworth, four in Hanover, and one each in West Grey and Southgate. 

Across the Grey-Bruce region there are 48 active cases, and the health unit is tracking 246 active, high-risk contacts. 

To date, the health unit has reported 2,550 cases, 2,475 recoveries and 22 deaths. 

As of today, 74 per cent of the total population of the region (including children) is vaccinated with two or more doses.
