Collingwood Collegiate Institute alumnus Jim Cousins will add to the nostalgia at the upcoming 160th anniversary reunion, quite literally.

Cousins is bringing his 1941 Dodge classic car, which is painted in the school colours of black and gold, to the reunion this September 21 and 22.

Cousins attended CCI in the 1950s and is looking forward to reliving his fond high school memories and contributing to the 160th celebrations by bringing along his classic car.

According to reunion co-organizer Annie Chandler, tickets for the event are 30 per cent sold out. There are two days worth of activities planned to celebrate the school's anniversary and the thousands of graduates who earned their high school diplomas in the classrooms of CCI.

Alumni wishing to attend the event can pick up registration forms in person at CollingwoodTown Hall, the library, the YMCA and at the Clearview and Wasaga Beach municipal offices. Registration is also available online here.
