Submissions open for Collingwood mayor's holiday card image

Collingwood's mayor is looking for a local photo or work of art to adorn her holiday greeting card for 2024. 

Between now and Nov. 12, anyone can submit original works of art, photographs and digital creations for consideration. 

One image will be selected and featured on the mayor's 2024 greeting card along with acknowledgement of the artist, title of the work, website and social media links for the artist. The card is sent to about 300 members of the community, dignitaries, and friends. 

Submissions will be considered based on relevance to Collingwood, suitability for a seasonal greeting card and for creativity. 

How to Submit

Email [email protected] with the following:

  • Up to three original images suitable for a holiday greeting card in the following format: JPEG (medium resolution), at the final size of 5 x 7 inches
  • Images may be of sender’s original artwork in any medium
  • Include title, date, artist name, brief biography, and phone number and website / social media links 
  • Use the Subject Line: 2024 Mayor’s Greeting Card (Your Name)

Deadline: Tuesday, November 12, 2024 no later than 4:00 p.m.
